M*ther Lines: Beginners Print-making & Textiles Series

What can we learn about ourselves and our communities through creatively looking at the lives of our mum's, auntie's, nan's or chosen families? How can we do this creatively?
Join artist Rebecca Livesey-Wright (founder of Kinfolk Families) to create a collaborate artwork exploring family and community! We'll spend 8-weeks together creating and exploring our family or chosen family through conversation and the creation of artwork. Techniques will include lino printing, photo printing transfers, embroidery and crochet. As the sessions progress, we'll start to design a collaborative artwork, which will be displayed in an exhibition in Renfrewshire early 2027 as part of Fierce Women+ (our heritage project).
