Beginner Sewing Group

A beginner-friendly sewing class to learn the craft and produce handmade items.
Sessions: 9, 16, 23 and 30 September from 9:45am - 11:45am at the temporary Cowlairs Hub (252 Keppochhill Road).

Participants will learn:
• How to operate a sewing machine
• Basic sewing techniques
• How to make a cushion cover
• How to make a fabric basket
• How to make a tote bag

Who is this event for?

Priority will be given to those living in the Cowlairs/Springburn area and to those who will be available for all four weeks as skills will build throughout the course.
